Ted’s Grooming Room – The Tommy ‘n’ Turkish

Gents (or ladies who have beard-abilities), here is a post just for you! We visited Ted’s Grooming Room at their Soho location on Berwick street to try out the Tommy ‘n’ Turkish treatment and report back for your benefit. Okay, okay, we got something out of the shave too but relaxing in the name of blogging…. sheesh, tough work!
What does this Tommy ‘n’ Turkish consist of? It’s a traditional cut-throat shave, hair wash and style, and ear flaming as required which all costs £28 and about 30 minutes of your time.

Orangina for Summer 2017

“Is Summer over?” is the question the UK has been asking since…well… February nearly! However we do still get the odd sunny day and Orangina has you sorted for when the sun is out, or if you want to imagine a bit of Summer is with you.

Their 2017 bottle range is super cute featuring two beach outfits for their bottles. I even have a bit of outfit envy from these babes. How is that possible? They’re bottles, ffs!

Pegasus’ Gods and Monsters Show – Kings Cross, London

I’d like to take this opportunity to promote one of my favourite urban artists, Camden based Pegasus.  Fear not, non Londoners, he is frequently in LA and does travel around the world from time to time. This talented gentleman regularly produces brilliant street art based on public figures and it was a pleasure to go along to his gallery party last year near King’s Cross.

HP Instant Ink – Tattoo or Printer Giveaway – Brick Lane, London

It’s a Saturday in London, we’re in Brick Lane so of course there’s something random afoot! This week I saw from London on the Inside that there was a free giveaway, giving people the chance to win either a free Instant Ink printer or a free tattoo.  I love a freebie, so headed down with companion Anna who happens to have a birthday that very same day! Barsmith Tiki Pop Up – Farringdon, London

Good day to you all! Some of you may know that I’m a fan of 50s style, including Tiki fashion, so when I saw there was an exciting looking Tiki pop up at Barsmith in Farringdon it set my joy alarm off!

So what is it? Well Barsmith have decked out their establishment as a Tiki bar, with carved Tiki heads imported from the South Pacific, a bamboo bar set up, tropical flowers all over the place and a new Tiki styled menu. They’ve brought in some cocktails such as the classic Zombie and Navy Grog to name a couple to sip on while admiring the authentic décor.
