We’ve recently posted some delicious fondue recipes from Paxton & Whitfield, so now it’s time to let you know about some of their Christmas offerings for 2017! Imagine the scene…it’s Christmas Day…you’ve had your huge lunch and opened most of your presents, the heating is full blast and your loved ones are driving you a wee bit nuts. You look to your left and what do you see…?!
This week we had the immense pleasure of visiting the flagship Paxton & Whitfield store in Jermyn Street, Piccadilly to learn about their cheeses, a bit of history and taste some amazing fondues. Paxton & Whitfield kindly shared the fondue recipes with us, and this post will largely be sharing the love of these so you can stock up on your cheesy goodness and prep these for yourselves at home.

Today we ventured to the new Bloomberg Arcade, which will soon be home to a new Bleecker Burger (the most glorious of all London Burgers). Sadly it isn’t open yet (but will be on the 18th October people!) so we wandered around in search of a quick and hearty lunch. We stumbled upon Pull’d, which looked like a good option – I mean who doesn’t like pulled meats.
A couple of years back I went on a semi ‘clean eating’ or lower carb way of eating and some of that involved swapping up standard rice for cauliflower rice. I’ll admit the low carb choice did not last long, but having cauliflower rice stuck with me a lot longer than giving up bread or potatoes…. so when I saw CauliRice as a product and interest in blogger reviews I was keen to give this product a shot.
“Is Summer over?” is the question the UK has been asking since…well… February nearly! However we do still get the odd sunny day and Orangina has you sorted for when the sun is out, or if you want to imagine a bit of Summer is with you.
Their 2017 bottle range is super cute featuring two beach outfits for their bottles. I even have a bit of outfit envy from these babes. How is that possible? They’re bottles, ffs!
Although I have experienced Wrap It Up before, this was our first time to the Aldermanbury location and we had a specific mission: try the new American Smokey wrap. Fortunately, myself and Toli are fans and friends of beef brisket, the main component of this new wrap so we were both looking forward to this and also slightly fearful of the brisket quality.

It’s 2017 and any products that can be made into a unicorn, will be made into a unicorn! That includes the freakshake, and I have wanted to try one of these dessert giants for a while now. I missed the Pokemon freakshake boat last year, so why not take the opportunity to try a unicorn one!
Another day, another supposed health food drink…
I recently received another mysterious package, this time a neon orange cool bag delivered straight to my desk… how exciting… or so I thought until I opened it to find some cold pressed juices. To be fair I am not the health freak fad dieter key demographic of these juices so I was bound to be underwhelmed. Still, I thought I’d give them a shot, pressed fruit and vegetable juice can’t do me any harm.
