Hello from me to thee on a rainy Sunday in London Town – this morning I am writing about a cute little cafe/restaurant called Indigo’s Hive just up from Bethnal Green towards Cambridge Heath. If you’ve seen anything of this place before it’ll probably be their lattes! If you like a solid but creative brunch, then read on!

Second Shot coffee – Bethnal Green, London
Hello there, I wanted to share a recent discovery with you… I was off to get my nails done at my usual place (Hollywood Star Nails in Bethnal Green) but today I didn’t book so had to wait for someone to be free to fix my hands up real nice. I took the opportunity to pop by to Second Shot to bide my time. I’ve bought a take out coffee from Second Shot a few times before now but hadn’t ever sat in, and I’m glad I did this time.
Hiland Cafe – Roman Road, Bow
Who dat? Oh it’s you! I’ve needed to put a post up about this place for a while really, but procrastination is a hobby of mine so there we go and here we are. I live in Bow and regularly visit Hiland Cafe, down the road from me. It’s probably the place I go to the most for brunch actually and that’s why I need to recommend it to you all.
ion8 Leak-proof Sports Water Bottle
Hello forkers! Today I have a review of a non edible item for you. A water bottle! Hooray! “But Stef, what type of water bottle are you going to tell me about?” I hear you think… well.. this one is the ion8 leak-proof sports water bottle…. I know, right?!
Orangina for Summer 2017
“Is Summer over?” is the question the UK has been asking since…well… February nearly! However we do still get the odd sunny day and Orangina has you sorted for when the sun is out, or if you want to imagine a bit of Summer is with you.
Their 2017 bottle range is super cute featuring two beach outfits for their bottles. I even have a bit of outfit envy from these babes. How is that possible? They’re bottles, ffs!
Cafe East – Roman Road, Bow
Sunday morning…well, afternoon…I like a lie in, don’t judge me! Not wanting to wander too far from home, I thought it was about time that I explored some local options. Β In the last few months, Roman Road in Mile End/Bow has seen some great new additions – one of those is Cafe East. I’ve walked past a few times and today was the day I was to go in, after seeing some of their photos on Instagram.
Gaza Cafe – Soho, London
Hungry. In Soho. Not sure what to eat as I fancy something new…that’s when I stumbled upon Gaza Cafe completely by accident, and was drawn over to the window by a picture of a rice burger. Rice burger? Say whaaaaat…. Although effectively this is a standard rice dish shaped like a burger, it appealed more! Intrigued, we went in.
Naked – Cold Pressed Juices
Another day, another supposed health food drink…
I recently received another mysterious package, this time a neon orange cool bag delivered straight to my desk… how exciting… or so I thought until I opened it to find some cold pressed juices. To be fair I am not the health freak fad dieter key demographic of these juices so I was bound to be underwhelmed. Still, I thought I’d give them a shot, pressed fruit and vegetable juice can’t do me any harm.
Starbucks – Unicorn Frappuccino
So if you’re part of the internet I can guarantee you’ve seen the Unicorn Frappuccino, a limited edition drink handed to us by Starbucks. It’s only available in America and it’s just fortunate basic bitch timing for me that, as a Londoner, I’m in San Francisco for the 4 days it’s available.
Apart from being perfect Instagram fodder, what is this drink? We’ve seen articles about how much the baristas hate it, how it tastes awful and how your teeth will fall out as soon as they come within a meter of this sparkly beverage. So I had to get one!
Zingo – A Water Bottle with a Twist
New year, new you…right? It’s the third week of January and your resolutions may have gone out of the window already, but there’s an easy one to keep at. I’m sure we could all do with drinking more water – I definitely could. That’s what drew me to this product and thought I would give it a try to see if it ups my h2o intake. A flask which has a juicer in the bottom, joined by a twist-offable bottomΒ section (see what I did there with the title? Hey?) to make drinking water a little more interesting.
