Awwite gang. Now that the ‘controversial’ and highly debated vegan sausage roll is available nationwide at Greggs stores I had the opportunity to review one (as a non-vegan) and let you know what I think. Because the world needs my opinion, I’m sure.
Hello! Today I want to tell you about a lunch I’ve become rather fond of which takes the form of a Protein Box from Pret. This isn’t sponsored and hasn’t been requested by a PR company, it’s just me sharing the love for something I quite like.
I eat a lot, and a lot of that is food which (combined with no exercise) means my clothes are slowly feeling tighter… my poor self control means I can’t cut delicious food out totally but I am trying to reduce my carb intake for lunches. So here we are with this box which seemed like a good option to me and, as a classic millennial, I’m a right sucker for an avo. However despite these lures I am also a bit of a stinge, so was initially put off by the £4.99 price tag.
Do you like poodles? Yes? Everyone does. And what rhymes with poodle…..that’s right…NOODLE!
After such a smooth intro, how can you not read on? I want to tell you a little about Mr Lee’s Noodle offerings – a gourmet, gluten free, rice noodle cup that’s ready and waiting for you.
Today, children, I am going to tell you about a burger that passed my lips in a city you may have heard of – New York AKA The Big Apple.
I was strolling down past central park, had just visited a very heavily policed car boot sale (NY has a ton of cops all standing around looking casual) and ended up meandering around just checking out what was what. But then. Hunger strook. Er…yeah. A Shake Shack was in the distance. This didn’t overly please me, I will admit.
I’ve had Shake Shack before in the UK and it didn’t blow me away. People bang on about it like it’s the second coming of jebus but really it was just a burger for me. But I thought hey, let’s give it a crack. THIS IS AMURKUH! And I was pleased I did. This location was, in fact, the second ever Shake Shack to open and it has welcomed folk through the door since 2008. For reference, the address is 366 Columbus Ave and we sat in the conservatory bit so we could people watch and see the park.
