Who dat? Oh it’s you! I’ve needed to put a post up about this place for a while really, but procrastination is a hobby of mine so there we go and here we are. I live in Bow and regularly visit Hiland Cafe, down the road from me. It’s probably the place I go to the most for brunch actually and that’s why I need to recommend it to you all.

Rocket Originals – Sweater and Cardigan Twinset
Oh my gosh! What do we have here? A bloomin Autumnal treat, that’s what we have! Rocket Originals have knocked it out of the park, producing a knitwear dream twinset inspired by another vintage pattern and to be honest it looks exactly like the original advert below! I’m featuring the rust version because I feel like a pumpkin spice Autumnal dream wearing these colours!
Pret A Manger – Chicken Protein Box
Hello! Today I want to tell you about a lunch I’ve become rather fond of which takes the form of a Protein Box from Pret. This isn’t sponsored and hasn’t been requested by a PR company, it’s just me sharing the love for something I quite like.
I eat a lot, and a lot of that is food which (combined with no exercise) means my clothes are slowly feeling tighter… my poor self control means I can’t cut delicious food out totally but I am trying to reduce my carb intake for lunches. So here we are with this box which seemed like a good option to me and, as a classic millennial, I’m a right sucker for an avo. However despite these lures I am also a bit of a stinge, so was initially put off by the £4.99 price tag.
Violets In May – Geva Dress
Today I’m reviewing the Geva dress by one of my favourite brands, Violets In May. They are self described as making figure-loving vintage inspired threads for pin up dolls, rockabilly bad girls and mid-century mamas! I own a lot of Violets in May pieces so you’ll see this name cropping up on FMPH more and more, as a brand I am pleased to endorse.
Fish Market – Liverpool Street, London
Welcome to Wednesday, dear friends! Halfway through the week, we can make it! We’re also at the end of June and I can hear you wondering what I’ve done with my month so far..well.. a couple of weeks back I ate at Fish Market and had a catch up with one of my best friends Lianne. We love a bargain and so booked for the £16.50 set menu which covered 2 courses. We both wanted to eat relatively healthily and on a budget so this seemed ideal and the restaurant isn’t far from Liverpool Street – we both work pretty close by.

Rocket Originals – Cream Argyle Sweater
THE BEAST OF THE EAST aka Syberian weather has hit the UK and this, as all chilly weather does, drives me to my knitwear. Today I have a wee post for you about one of my short sleeve jumpers by Rocket Originals, the Argyle Sweater in Cream.
Miss Fortune – Rockets n Robots Kitty Tee
You love t-shirts (probably), I love t-shirts (definitely) so here’s a post about a t-shirt! You may recall I’ve posted about a tee from Miss Fortune before, the Leopard Baseball Tee… if you don’t remember then refresh your memory by clicking….HERE! Skinny Coffee by The Skinny Caffe
Skinny Coffee is a 30 Day Program to help weight loss with only one cup of this coffee a day, drunk 15 minutes before you have your breakfast. With a slogan of “Make Coffee, Not Excuses” I thought hey, why not? Now I’m not saying I am overweight so please no hate there, it’s just over the last 6 months my clothes seem to be smaller – very selfish of them…. so I thought if I can start wearing them comfortably again then that would be a great feeling for me. No excuses!
Cadbury Dairy Milk – Tiffin Bar
If you don’t know who Cadbury are then you really need to get back in your bunker and go back to being a mole man/woman. Right. Now we’ve established that those of you left reading do indeed know who this chocolate giant are, we can continue. Ain’t nobody got time to go into the history of Cadbrizzle (look, I am hip and cool …broadening the reach of this blog with my lingo)… so I’ll just say what this post is about. Drumroll please……. it;’s about the new Tiffin Bar. Huzzay!
