Montezuma are the first chocolate company to offer 100% sustainable packaging on their ENTIRE range of products! It’s an amazing achievement and took a lot of hard work and a complete packaging redesign from the team! To celebrate and show off the results, Montezuma are hosting a pop up shop in Seven Dials for two days to both celebrate and make you consider wasteful packaging. Continue reading

Cavallo – Vienna, Austria
Guten morgen from Österreich! I’ve made it a focus to visit some new cities and with my main travel focus being eating, it’d be rude if I didn’t share some edible gems with y’all as I go.
So on the menu today we have Cavallo! A very cute and well decorated bar Cafe restaurant type place…yes, you know I’m a sucker for aesthetic restaurants. This one in particular is ‘on it’ displaying many exposed bulbs with metal wire lampshades, a super nice colour scheme, soft looking furniture and it’s all just very aesthetically pleasing. It doesn’t stop with the furnishings and decoration either. Upon arrival we’re seated on a comfy corner bench seat and handed a menu each… The menus are magazines! Such a good idea. You pretty much get to see a photo of each dish and drink on offer and not like you would on a laminated double side menu in a cheap cafe, this has been properly done. Love it.
Holybelly – Canal Saint Martin, Paris
Bonjour from Paris! Today I am bringing you some brunch lushness, right in yo’ face!
When I booked this little trip away I specifically didn’t want to be lumped in a touristy area, so chose to look up the ‘hipster’ parts of Paris. Yes, I am a twerp. I love this stuff. The area I picked I mainly chose because it was less than five minutes away from the best boulangerie in the city but on our walk to said boulangerie, we stumbled upon Holybelly. And holy cow…it tickled my belly. A hipster brunch paradise on a cute little Parisienne street. Who’d have thunk it?
B Factory – Naples, Italy
I love meat. This is well known about me and Naples is very full of fish and pizza but I want my meat injection – wahey – from this city too. There are a few steak restaurants around, none are in the centre of Naples but I found one on the sea front.
Sea front restaurant about a 30min walk from the historical district. Easy to find if you walk straight down the Toledo (main shopping road, so I hear) then curve with the shoreline to the right. Or just Google maps it.
Esthechoc – Chocolate Golden Skin Programme
Oooh… chocolate… TICK… golden skin… TICK… this sounds pretty good, right? I was approached to review this product, completely impartially (as always) and I must note that this is not a paid review.
I thought this would be a good product to review as even at the age of 31 my skin still thinks I am a vibrant teen and I do suffer from skin problems (mainly chin based). Boo and hiss. I’ve tried countless antibiotics, ointments, tablets, creams, contraceptives blahblahblah for years to try and calm it down but not much works (well, one contraceptive did help a bit but it made me go a bit nutso with moods so I stopped that as one doesn’t like being angry 98% of the time) so I thought perhaps this chocco will make a difference. Plus, I am not going to turn down eating a little choccy bar every day for 3 weeks especially if it has the potential for skin benefits!
Cadbury Dairy Milk – Tiffin Bar
If you don’t know who Cadbury are then you really need to get back in your bunker and go back to being a mole man/woman. Right. Now we’ve established that those of you left reading do indeed know who this chocolate giant are, we can continue. Ain’t nobody got time to go into the history of Cadbrizzle (look, I am hip and cool …broadening the reach of this blog with my lingo)… so I’ll just say what this post is about. Drumroll please……. it;’s about the new Tiffin Bar. Huzzay!
Unicorn Freakshake at Maxwell’s – Covent Garden, London
It’s 2017 and any products that can be made into a unicorn, will be made into a unicorn! That includes the freakshake, and I have wanted to try one of these dessert giants for a while now. I missed the Pokemon freakshake boat last year, so why not take the opportunity to try a unicorn one!
Cadbury Dairy Milk Big Taste – Peanut Caramel Crisp
April! Easter! Eggs! Rain!
Wait…no…we have something better for you. This month saw the launch of a new product from Cadburys…the new Dairy Milk Big Taste Peanut Caramel Crisp. The introduction of this peanut focused slab is brilliant for me as a big peanut fan and when they say Big Taste, Cadbury aren’t messing around! This is a £278g bar (big) which is sold for a not crazy £3.49 and that’s only the approximate cost of one flavoured latte.
Rucoletta – St Paul’s, London
Last night we dined at Rucoletta, near St Paul’s, using a Groupon voucher which allowed myself and a dining companion a three course meal each. And on Trip Advisor it currently has a rating of 158th out of 17,643 restaurants in London – amazing! What an offer.
Belvita – Breakfast Biscuits
Salutations! Apparently 1 in 3 people skip breakfast, and that may well be true as I am guilty of being one of the skippees. Getting up in the morning is always tougher especially when the mornings are getting darker and we really REALLY don’t want to leave our warm duvet nests.
So, as a quick alternative to the standard bowl, we’ve been checking out the offering of Belvita Breakfast Biscuits to let you know about two (out of eight possible) flavours from the range.
