Holla! Today I had the pleasure of eating at Roadkill, a stall in Camden’s Stable Market which only opened two weeks ago. This is one for the more meaty of the foodies amongst us – I don’t think there is one vegetarian thing on the menu… ok maybe the slaw is, but that’s probably about it.

New Opening! Bleecker and the City – Bloomberg Arcade, London
Praise be, mother Mary, Joseph and the orphans! Bleecker Burger, our beloved and much raved about burger joint, has opened a new location in the City TODAY! Bloomberg Arcade has recently blossomed from a building site into a new delicious heaven and Bleecker are the peak of the scrumptiousness.
Spicer + Cole – Queen Square, Bristol
Ooo arr! We’re in the West Country, Bristol to be specific, and it’s BRUNCHTIME following a 30th birthday party. A little dozy and worse for wear, we are wandering Bristol without aim….luckily, we’ve found a brunch spot not far away from the city centre and our hotel. Hooray! It looks safe and there are spare seats, so we step inside.
The menu looked pretty interesting, offering the standard kind of things you’d expect to see in a brunch spot, but my bruncheon of choice was the Harissa Bap. Specifically, the menu read “Bacon house harissa + aioli bap with a poached egg” – interesting. Bit different to my go-to of eggs benedict or something avocado-looking. Continue reading
Bleecker Street – Spitalfields, London – London’s Best Burger!

Bleecker Van Love ❤
Yesterday we had the absolute joy of meeting Zan Kaufman the owner and creator of Bleecker Burger, one of our hands down favourite places to eat in London. Not only was she nice enough to pose for a picture with us she also invited us into the Bleecker Bus – the dream! After the treat of getting up close and personal with the lady behind the Bleecker we realised what a travesty it was that we have never actually written about our favourite burger!
Burgermeister, das Berliner Burger – Berlin, Germany
Apparently it is widely believed that the Hamburger originated in Hamburg (hence the name), the invention of Otto Kuase who used to serve butter fried patties topped with a fried egg to sailors. There are plenty of other claims to the first Hamburger, but we like this one, and so we thought we’d take a break from the wurst and give a burger a go in the country where it was (allegedly) invented. So where better when in Berlin than Burgermeister, the go-to place in Berlin for burgers, which frequently features on best eats lists for the city. When I arrived I was amused to see the innately hip Berlin has not missed out on the trend of turning public loos into eating establishments. (Maybe it even started here? Who knows!) Continue reading
The Breakfast Club, Pancakes – Hoxton
The Breakfast Club Hoxton – Pancakes & Bacon – £9
It’s the weekend. I’m slightly hanging and I’m ravenous. I know just the place that will sort me out. The Breakfast Club.
Having been to this fine establishment multiple times I knew before stepping foot in the building what I’d be having… 100% unquestionably it had to be the pancakes and bacon! And since I was feeling a little sorry for myself, I threw in a chocolate caramel milkshake for good measure. Now that my friends, is what I call a breakfast of champions.
