Steam at Home with Ping Pong – UK delivery

Since lockdown due to COVID-19 there has been a plethora of meal kits created by restaurants. Many have complicated instructions, short shelf life and large price tags that leave customers longing for restaurants to be back open again.

Ping Pong has set themselves apart from the majority by providing customers with handmade restaurant products at affordable prices, created by their chefs and ready to cook at home as soon as they arrive. Meaning customers can have their favourite Ping Pong dim sum in just over a minute if using a microwave or 5 if using a traditional steaming basket.

The Babka Boys – Chocco Babka

Oh my sweet lord… You need to check out these lads. I was first drawn to them because of the frookin delish pics of their babka all over social media… My eye stomach couldn’t get enough and the climax of me ordering finally arrived.

Luckily for me there was a slot for delivery in my area the very next day so I popped my order through and sat by the door in excitement… The next day (just imagine I’d sat there for the whole time) my babka was hand delivered to me by a lovely cyclist – yay to environmentally friendly local delivery!

Montezuma’s ‘Waste Not, Want Not’ Recyclable Popup – Seven Dials, London

Montezuma are the first chocolate company to offer 100% sustainable packaging on their ENTIRE range of products! To celebrate and show off the results, Montezuma are hosting a pop up shop in Seven Dials for two days to both celebrate and make you consider wasteful packaging. Continue reading

Esthechoc – Chocolate Golden Skin Programme

Oooh… chocolate… TICK… golden skin… TICK… this sounds pretty good, right? I was approached to review this product, completely impartially (as always) and I must note that this is not a paid review.

I thought this would be a good product to review as even at the age of 31 my skin still thinks I am a vibrant teen and I do suffer from skin problems (mainly chin based). Boo and hiss. I’ve tried countless antibiotics, ointments, tablets, creams, contraceptives blahblahblah for years to try and calm it down but not much works (well, one contraceptive did help a bit but it made me go a bit nutso with moods so I stopped that as one doesn’t like being angry 98% of the time) so I thought perhaps this chocco will make a difference. Plus, I am not going to turn down eating a little choccy bar every day for 3 weeks especially if it has the potential for skin benefits!

Cadbury Dairy Milk – Tiffin Bar

If you don’t know who Cadbury are then you really need to get back in your bunker and go back to being a mole man/woman. Right. Now we’ve established that those of you left reading do indeed know who this chocolate giant are, we can continue. Ain’t nobody got time to go into the history of Cadbrizzle (look, I am hip and cool …broadening the reach of this blog with my lingo)… so I’ll just say what this post is about. Drumroll please……. it;’s about the new Tiffin Bar. Huzzay!

Upcoming: Magic Roundabout Winter Launch

The oh so East London drinking and dining den Magic Roundabout, which resides in the middle of Old Street roundabout is coming back for Winter!

They’ve tented it, heated it, and revamped it with a new old school theme. The new venue will take you back through the decades, with areas decked out in homage to the 60s, 70s, 80s and (our personal favourite) the 90s.  The new themed areas include a Woodstock with some serious flower power and tribute to the late, great (in some opinions) Hugh Heffner with a super sexy 1970s Playboy lounge, complete with sheepskins and log fire. The Main Bar will be an all out 80s disco with futuristic art and palm trees and finally, the VIP Area will take you right back to the early 90s; oh the patterns, oh the Fresh Prince colours! Hopefully Big Willy himself will make an appearance… (ok, maybe not but let a girl dream!)

Victoria Park Market – East London

Glory praise, be! A ‘farmers market’ has landed in Victoria Park!

Being a local to the area, I thought this was great – bop along every Sunday and pick up some produce but my, my I was so surprised when I visited! There is SO much more than just produce on offer. There was a band, tons of street food stands to grab lunch or brekkie while you’re there…donuts, cookies, cured meats… this market literally has it all if you’re after something edible.
