It’s a Saturday in London, we’re in Brick Lane so of course there’s something random afoot! This week I saw from London on the Inside that there was a free giveaway, giving people the chance to win either a free Instant Ink printer or a free tattoo. I love a freebie, so headed down with companion Anna who happens to have a birthday that very same day! What a treat!

Barsmith Tiki Pop Up – Farringdon, London
Good day to you all! Some of you may know that I’m a fan of 50s style, including Tiki fashion, so when I saw there was an exciting looking Tiki pop up at Barsmith in Farringdon it set my joy alarm off!
So what is it? Well Barsmith have decked out their establishment as a Tiki bar, with carved Tiki heads imported from the South Pacific, a bamboo bar set up, tropical flowers all over the place and a new Tiki styled menu. They’ve brought in some cocktails such as the classic Zombie and Navy Grog to name a couple to sip on while admiring the authentic décor.
Vans vs Peanuts Collection
Last weekend I was wandering with my pal Goldy Loxx in Covent Garden, on our way to get a Unicorn Freakshake, when we twigged a pretty shop window….Goldy is a Vans lover so we were drawn over and somehow I didn’t immediately register the glory that was in front of me. This glory was the Vans x Peanuts collection, beautifully displayed and it made me SWOON HARD. Good grief!
Don Juan in Soho – Wyndham’s Theatre, London
“Happy Christmas!” I said to my chap, as he unwrapped a witty card that told him I’d bought us two tickets to see David Tennant in Patrick Marber’s Don Juan of Soho. Admittedly, this was also a present for me, as David Tennant is one of our relationship celebrity loves and I’d timed it for the day after my 30th birthday – to soften the blow of aging somewhat.
Ghostbusters 2016 – Waterloo, London
A backdated post for you! I loved this so needed to feature it – sorry if you missed out and well done for catching it if you were ‘on it’ last year!
In 2016, Forbidden Planet and Sony Pictures UK teamed up for the launch of the 2016 Ghostbusters and transformed London’s Waterloo station with a fabulous ghostly, slimy, marshmallowy PR stunt.
