Miss Fortune are a UK based pin up and rockabilly clothing company, born in 2005 from the mind of designer Laura. I’ve had the….fortune (eh? eh?!) to try out one of their new tee designs! I am a huge tee wearer and today I’m featuring one of their new Baseball Tees, in a fab leopard print.
The Baseball Tee is a new design for Miss Fortune, available in two other colour ways aside from this leopard number; a Cactus print with a white body and pink sleeves or a Mexicana Frill featuring a red body and striped sleeves.
I really like this leopard version with the darker colouring and I do love a solid red hair, leopard print combo. Somehow, I don’t have a vast amount of leopard print in my wardrobe but this casual tee lets me get it in there reasonably subtly without whamming a full leopard print dress on.
These tees are especially good as they are cut longer which lets you wear them with ‘standard’ height jeans or your high waisted retro styled items. I’ve chosen to style this pretty casually with my favourite Freddies of Pinewood cropped jeans but it also gives you options to chuck on a circle skirt or maybe some black capris and a set of killer heels for a night out.
Priced at £29 this really isn’t a bad investment at all. The material is a heavy, good quality jersey and definitely isn’t going to be one of these semi-sheer t-shirt situations…I hate those! If I have a top on I really don’t want to be seeing my bra through it (unless it’s on purpose).
Here I’m wearing a size Small and my measurements are approx. a 33″ bust with a 27″ waist. The shirts have a bit of stretch so it depends how tight you want yours to be – the size charts are on the Miss Fortune site so it’s up to you what look you want to go for, more fitted or the baggier option.
I love this tee and am delighted to have it in my collection!
