Upcoming: The Last Days of Shoreditch Returns!

This week we see Last Days of Shoreditch Riviera arrive back in the heart of East London, in the crevis where Old Street and Great Eastern Street meet, with a sensational summer programme of beats, bars and beach life. If you feel so inclined, you can relax to the sounds of XOYO DJs who will take the Saturday daytime residency each week, expect cocktails, an urban beach, craft beer bars alongside mouthwatering street food as well as a pop up restaurant and label takeovers.

Seemingly endless events are planned for Last Days of Shoreditch Riviera every Thursday, Friday and Saturday with a massive selection of global talent ready to show you their stuff. There are a lot of pre-parties and specially curated events for your ears and feet and luckily for you, we’ve provided the highlights from summer schedule below but if you want even MORE then you can check out the full listing HERE.

Obviously for us the key is food, and the grub for the summer season comes courtesy of Nanny Bills serving up a delectable range of burgers, not to mention their signature croquettes with popular favourites including ‘Pea & Feta’ and ‘Mac & Cheese’. Joining them are Belli Freschi, a restaurant serving up authentic Italian dishes and seeing to take that one step further with a bespoke Avocado bar (mmmm avocado bae) and freshly baked pasta, with a strong focus on vegan and vegetarian options. Although we are largly a meat loving blog, pure veggie/vegan options do interest me to see if I do, in fact, miss the meat element of my meal. Feedback to be provided after the launch!

With music, food and drink taken care of, Last Days of Shoreditch Riviera will bring a mini-adventure of curious clue-solving in the form of an escape room experience. Handmade Mysteries presents ‘Plumbottom’s Magnificent Return’, a frantic five minute pop-up that challenges teams of 2-3 players to aid the ghost of Plumbottom with a fun, immersive experience that will bamboozle even the most twisted minds. I imagine this will have an extra entertainment factor when combined with the bar and a lot of food!

LDoS also brings some good old fashioned fun in the form of a Lucky Voice karaoke experience. Unfortunately for some ears (however expert you think your singing abilities are, there are bound to be awful wailers out there!) you can select from over 10,000 songs from latest hits to power ballads and sing the night away.

You have the option to hire rooms here too, which are available with up to 15 people while a VIP Package is also available. Themed rooms are free for the picking including the Bowie Bauhaus, Purple Rain and more to host your perfect party or event, available for private hire seven days a week – I’m curious to explore!

We’re looking forward to attending the launch and being able to give a little first hand peek for all of you on the available food, drink and activities. Keep your peepers peeled and make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss out!
